Northern Australia can be a challenging environment to be a photographer. The intense heat, humidity and harsh lighting conditions can make it hard to capture the best side of you. Whether you're inside a studio in Berrimah or outside in the Botanic Gardens - or even your office - there's a few things we have to be prepared for.
It gets hot! I always bring plenty of water and seek out shade whenever possible. Even if the light isn't ideal, we can work around that using reflectors and diffusers to control the light and create a stunning look. I also make sure to have the right gear, such as high-quality lenses and cameras that can handle the ever-changing conditions.
